Persistent Systems: Salesforce–Infor CSI Customer Success
Updated: Oct 29
Persistent Systems, LLC connected Salesforce with Infor CSI using Endowance’s OneOffice Duet360 Enterprise. The original customer study describes bidirectional business-data synchronization, line-item visibility and automated opportunity closure.
ERP environment and business challenge
ERP: Infor CSI. CRM: Salesforce. Persistent Systems provides mobile networking technology for defense, commercial and public-safety markets. After moving to Infor CSI, the company needed to connect ERP information with Salesforce and reduce manual work across two systems.
Quote line items included warranty information, support hours and other services. Maintaining those details separately complicated updates and forecast preparation.
Integrated processes
Duet360 supported bidirectional updates between Infor CSI and Salesforce, using the opportunity name as the order anchor point. It brought line-item detail into Salesforce for sales and forecasting. The study also describes automatically closing Salesforce opportunities as orders were processed, replacing a manual step in the sales order/revenue process.
Customer-reported outcomes
Kayla Lively, Sales Operations Team Leader, reported improved financial accuracy and said the order/revenue process took 50% less time than before. That figure applies to the process described in her account; it is not a measurement of the entire sales cycle or a promise for other implementations.
The study also reports more efficient quote finalization and business closure. Additional forecasting time savings and a second project phase were discussed as future benefits rather than completed measured results.
