Your Salesforce MCP questions, answered.
Does Duet360 provide a Salesforce MCP server?
Duet360 provides prebuilt business processes for the agreed Salesforce–ERP workflows. Availability of a dedicated Duet360 MCP server must be confirmed separately. Ask Endowance to confirm the available connection method, product components and evidence for your proposed workflow.
Does every Salesforce–ERP process need MCP?
No. Supported APIs and configured business processes can connect Salesforce and ERP without MCP. MCP is relevant when a compatible AI experience needs access to exposed tools or context. Choose it for that requirement rather than adding it to every integration.
Can an AI assistant change an ERP order through Salesforce MCP?
An AI client can request an ERP action only through a separately verified and authorized implementation.
- Confirm the MCP service and owner.
- Check tools, Salesforce permissions and the ERP connection method.
- Define the actions that are allowed.
Duet360’s prebuilt processes can provide the agreed mappings and business controls. Test approvals, rejected requests and transaction status before allowing order changes.
This page does not certify MCP compatibility with every ERP.
What is prebuilt in Duet360?
Duet360’s productized approach includes packaged business processes, predefined flows, premapped fields, validations and exception handling as the implementation starting point. The included records and adaptations depend on the selected product package, systems and agreed scope.
How does this relate to Infor Velocity Suite?
Infor Velocity Suite provides its own process improvement and automation capabilities. Duet360 can complement an agreed joint process where work crosses into Salesforce, CPQ or ERP. The dedicated Velocity Suite guide explains those proposed use cases and the verification required.
Does MCP tool access replace validation and exception handling?
Model Context Protocol lets compatible AI clients use exposed tools and context. Business processes still need record links, required fields, permissions and approvals.
Duet360 provides the agreed business-process foundation where supported.
- Demonstrate an allowed action and a rejected request.
- Define how rejected actions are handled.
- Name the owners of review, correction and reprocessing.
Is Duet360 implementation offered at a fixed fee?
Duet360 has a fixed implementation fee for its out-of-the-box functionality. The fee covers the prebuilt business processes in your agreed standard scope. This gives you a clear basis for budget planning.
