Levitt-Safety: Salesforce, Infor SX.e and IFS Success
Updated: Oct 29
Levitt-Safety connected Salesforce, Infor SX.e and IFS with Endowance’s OneOffice Duet360 Enterprise. The customer study describes a shared flow of customer, distribution and service information, including recurring maintenance scheduling.
ERP environment and business challenge
Distribution ERP: Infor SX.e. Service system: IFS. CRM: Salesforce. Levitt-Safety is an industrial distributor and provider of life, fire and environmental safety products and services.
An earlier integration had gaps in data mapping, including contacts associated with quotes and sales orders. As service work expanded, the company needed its service system to work with its distribution software and Salesforce.
Integrated processes
The study identifies Salesforce as the home for contact records, SX.e for product and accounting information, and IFS for service information. Duet360 mapped the three systems to support a common service-center workflow, contact sharing, scheduling and tasks reaching mobile users.
Recurring maintenance had involved extracting and manipulating spreadsheet data, uploading it, generating work orders and sharing documents with technicians. The connected workflow made relevant customer and parts information available in IFS for each job.
Customer-reported outcomes
Fraser Gibson, VP of Quality & Strategic Initiatives, described recurring maintenance scheduling as the most dramatic improvement. He reported that service and distribution teams could see the same customer records and parts setups, while salespeople could see activity across the business.
Gibson also reported a more complete customer view and greater confidence in the information. The study does not quantify a percentage time saving for this workflow; no numerical performance claim is added here.
Original case study and related information
This customer account concerns the SX.e and IFS environment named in the original study. It does not establish support for every current CloudSuite Distribution release or interface.
