Clyde Industries: Salesforce–Infor VISUAL Customer Success
Updated: Oct 29
Clyde Industries connected Salesforce with Infor VISUAL using Endowance’s OneOffice Duet360 Enterprise. Its customer study describes access to order-line and product-code information in Salesforce and better visibility into order intake by account and customer segment.
ERP environment and business challenge
ERP: Infor VISUAL. CRM: Salesforce. Clyde Industries manufactures boiler-efficiency and cleaning systems and supplies spare parts and services for the pulp and paper industry.
As the company introduced Salesforce for customer and asset-related needs, it needed a reliable connection to its existing VISUAL ERP. Earlier attempts had not mapped order-line information correctly between the systems.
Integrated processes
The implemented Duet360 connection mapped VISUAL information into Salesforce and synchronized information between the systems. Product codes corresponding to part numbers helped users distinguish revenue associated with services, spare parts and new equipment.
Order intake could be viewed by account and customer business segment. Information previously buried in reports became accessible within Salesforce.
Customer-reported outcomes
John Edenfield, New Products & Systems Monitoring Manager, reported real-time access to useful VISUAL information in Salesforce. The study describes up-to-date order-intake views as helpful for prioritizing accounts.
The source also discusses asset management, international service and IIoT as areas of ongoing work or future opportunity. Those plans are not presented here as completed deployments or measured improvements in service speed or revenue.
